BY CAR:

Auvergne is also positioned in the heart of a road and motorway network, with the A71 to Paris, the A72 to Lyon, the A75 to Montpellier and the A89 to Bordeaux.


  • A71 : Paris - Orléans - Bourges - Montluçon - Clermont-Ferrand.
  • A75 : “LA MÉRIDIENNE”, free motorway : Béziers - Lodève - Millau Séverac-le-Château - Marvejols - Saint-Flour - Massiac - Issoire - Clermont-Ferrand.
  • A72 : Lyon - Saint-Étienne - Thiers - Clermont-Ferrand.
